This X60 6000W HMI System with ALF Electronic Ballast from Arri includes the X60 HMI lamphead, barndoors, a frosted glass diffuser, a 50' head/ballast cable, and an ALF electronic ballast.
The X60 HMI lamphead can light large areas with daylight-balanced light. Wide beam angles of up to 125° allow flat surfaces such as buildings or scenic backgrounds to be lit evenly with a short throw. For further control of the light, this system includes barndoors and a frosted glass diffuser.
The included 6000W electronic ballast features Automatic Line Filtering (ALF), which reduces noise, and lessens color shift, when dimming the fixture. A 50' head/ballast cable is also included to power the lamphead.
ARRI X60 6KW HMI Open Face Light
Lighting large areas with daylight is easy with the ARRI X Series. Wide beam angles of up to 120° allow flat surfaces such as buildings or scenic backgrounds to be lit evenly with a short throw. Easy changeable black reflectors are available to create a hard shadow look.
This 6000 watt HMI fixture will provide a beam of light of 1,125 footcandles 38.4 feet in diameter from 10 feet away.
Purchase a 6000 watt HMI single ended bulb separately.

A choice of dimmable, multi-voltage, multi-power ballasts are available.
ARRI 4 Leaf Barndoor Set for Arri X60
This is a 4 leaf barndoor set for the Arri X60 6000 watt HMI light.
Barndoors narrow the beam spread of a light fixture. They help create a 3-dimensional look to a lighting scheme by placing light in a specific area, or by keeping it away.
The more leaves a barndoor set has, or the longer the leaves the more precisely the beam can be controlled.
ARRI Diffuser - Frosted Glass for Arri X60
This is a frosted glass diffuser for the Arri X 60 HMI light. It slightly softens the light output from the fixture.
ARRI 6000W Electronic Ballast with ALF (190-250 VAC)
The 6000W Electronic Ballast with ALF is Arri's high performance, power factor corrected, electronic ballast. The Active Line Filter provides a higher Power Factor resulting in more efficient power use. This is accomplished by shifting the voltage and current waveforms in phase and minimizing harmonics and spikes. ALF also minimizes the current carried back on the neutral leg of the power systems.
Dimmable 50% without a change in color temperature.
